BeCalm Yourself 5-Week Series

BeCalm Yourself is a popular series of five beautiful, gentle, easy and relaxing classes to find the experience of calm in a hectic world. The effects of each class will ripple through your week. Plus, you’ll be supported to create your own home practice that you can use for life.
Includes gentle and supportive restorative yoga, yin yoga, breath work and the stunning guided meditation of Mind Rest (Yoga Nidra) — giving your body a chance to deeply rest and heal. No yoga experience necessary.
Weekly extra support off the mat by way of audio, video and reading resources.
Finishes with an audio recording of your own personal home practice.
Maximum of four people in each class but usually two or three.
Bring one or two friends and create your own class at a time that suits.
Why do a series instead of casual classes? The benefits of these beautiful practices happen over time. You are more likely to get these benefits if you sign up for a series. It’s taken you a lifetime to get here. Trust us - you will look forward to these classes all week. And they will stay with you long after the last class.
EXTRA SUPPORT
These classes are fully supported with opportunities for discussion and practical and scientific information. Topics include good sleep, the relaxation response, the stress response, and awareness. You’ll receive guided audio for you to listen to during and after the series. This audio includes an 8-stage Yoga Nidra guided meditation practice. You will also have access to other home practice videos and recordings.

Calm Life
Sunday afternoon casual classes. For those who have completed a BeCalmed Yourself 5-week series or experienced a few MindRest (Yoga Nidra). How can you get still and quiet enough to feel what does not change inside you? This is explored and practiced in Calm Life classes..
Calm Life practices are where yoga comes into its own - the union between our body and mind, between our internal world and the world around us. Yoga is the experience of peace and connection, no matter what is going on. Deepen your experience of calm so that you begin to feel changes in your life. Calm body. Calm Mind. Calm Life. These classes will also give you a regular practice to strengthen what you already know. As you change, so will the world around you. Practices that support this shift include meditation, MindRest (Yoga Nidra), restorative and yin yoga, and a deeper understanding of yoga, breath work and meditation.

Restorative MindRest
1 weekly class / 1.5 hours
Yoga is more about meditation than it is about physical poses. These super relaxing forest-studio classes use gentle shapes and breath work to switch your nervous system over to calm and rest. Practices include restorative yoga, breath and MindRest (Yoga Nidra). The inner and outer calm you create with follow you into your life. No yoga experience necessary. Suitable for all bodies and experiences.

BeCalmed Forest Day Yoga Retreats
A full, beautiful, restful and restorative day.
A really special day of deep relaxation and calm, to reset your nervous system. Many different practices including restorative yoga, Mind Rest (yoga nidra), breath work, yin yoga, dharma art, and time to reflect. This peaceful forest relaxation retreat is suitable for all bodies and experiences. Bring your togs if you’d like a spa or forest bath too. Vegetarian snacks and lunch included. Follow-up resources also included to support your new found calm.
