Mindfulness Breath Track for when you feel sad
Breath for Sadness
I used to flat with this awesome Greek guy. Once or twice a month he would hide in his room for a day or so and play his guitar, crying, yelling - letting it out. Then he would emerge, smiling, give us all a hug, and make us his incredible moussaka. Not all cultures are as good at constructively feeling our response from being in this world.
Mostly, we are doing: work, eating, looking after people, exercising, listening, raving, driving and everything in between. Everything we do, see and touch has an impact on our nervous system. And sometimes it’s all too much. We can feel sad without there being anything clinically or majorly wrong.
Today I felt sad. I knew it was because of a build up from experiences over the week and I didn’t restore to ease this building sad tension. So it came out in an explosion (sorry Dean!)
I’ve created this track for us to listen to when we feel sad. This track is about slowing down and being mindful of how you feel. And being gentle with that.
